WOW…I was made for a purpose and there is only one me…
By · CommentsOkay so today’s post might be a bit discombobulated. Welcome to my mind. ha ha. So let’s start with my wonderful visit with a few business partners about a week ago. What a fabulous visit and so inspiring to be in their presence for the 5-6 hours I had. Through our time together I was challenged, mentored and I grew. That is probably one of my best traits is that I am teachable. I love to learn and love to be stretched. As I raise my kiddos I want them to be open to learning new things and growing through all interactions with people through out their life…
One thing my Business Partner, Tim, said to me was…”if you don’t love who YOU are YOU will never be good for anyone else.” WOW how profound. I started to ponder this simple statement. Jesus perfectly knit me together. He even knows the number of hairs on my head. As I look to how much I love me own children (not even knowing the number of hairs on their head) how much more God is amazingly and utterly in love with me. (us) I always want my children knowing they are “wanted, loved, cherished and special” in their own way. Perfectly put together for a Greater plan and GREATEST potential.
With that said for me this was an “ah ha” moment. How can I lead others, raise my children and reach out and love others if I can’t even love who I am. Wow I love learning! Did I say that? Thank you for all of you on this journey with me. Im always open to knowing too, what you are learning and how I can learn through that process as well.
Thank you Tim and Chelisa. I love you…and thank you for the life lesson reminder.
The Right Priority, GUT CHECK…
By · CommentsOkay so being a “business” mommy, it’s always good to check where my priorities lie…although I want to follow my dreams of being an entrepreneur, I must PRIORITIZE my calling of being a WIFE and MOM. Good stuff. Don’t you like it when people just SAY IT LIKE IT IS!!!! I just read a good old fav of mine called, “A Woman after God’s own heart.” by Elizabeth George… So important to have accountability in my life so I can be all I was created to be. Doesn’t mean I am perfect and to hold myself to that standard would kill me, but I can aspire to be all that God intended me to be, “A Woman after HIS heart!” I love this analogy. David in the Bible was coined as a man after God’s own heart…and he was far from perfect, had some addictions and just didn’t ALWAYS do it right. Shwew am I glad. Glad there is always room for growth.
“Constantly remind the people about these laws, and you yourself must think about them every day and every night so that you will be sure to obey all of them. For only then will you succeed” Joshua 1:8
Jim was a driven man. He loved his wife and his four children. But the thing that consumed almost every waking thought was, “How can I be a greater success? How can I earn the praise of men?”
Through neglect his family began to disintegrate, and he came to me for counsel. His wife was interested in another man; he was alienated from his children. Three were involved in drugs and one had attempted suicide twice.
“Where have I gone wrong?” Jim asked.
I reminded him of the Scripture, “What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul?” (Matthew 16:26)
According to Scripture, a man’s priorities are first, to love God with all his heart, his soul and his mind, and then to love his neighbor as himself. Since his closest neighbors are his wife and children, his second priority is his wife. A good marriage takes the Ephesians 5:25 kind of love. “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church,” a sacrificial, giving love.
The third priority is his children. He must show love to them, not by giving them things, but by giving them himself, spending time with them, letting them know they are far more important to him than his business.
A man must love his wife and children unconditionally as God loves him – not when, if, or because they are good and deserve to be loved.
And the fourth priority I discussed with Jim was his business. A man’s business must be dedicated to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Jim surrendered his life to Christ. After almost three years of implementing the Bible’s priorities, Jim’s family again was united in the love of Christ, and God had given Jim and his wife a new-found love for Himself and for each other.
The law of God is clear: When we disobey Him, he disciplines us as a loving father and mother discipline their child, and when we obey Him, He will bless us.
Bible Reading: James 2:1-8
Today’s Action Point: I will seek to please the Lord in all that I do, knowing that I will experience His blessings when I obey Him, and His discipline when I disobey Him.
Question: Are there any areas of your life where you need to trust God more? How can you begin to do so?

Blessing Your Future!
By · CommentsTODAY’S SCRIPTURE
“And so blessing and cursing come pouring out of the same mouth. Surely, my brothers and sisters, this is not right!”
(James 3:10, NLT).
TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria
Did you know you have the power to bless or curse your future? Your words have tremendous power. If you go around saying things like “I don’t have what it takes. I’m so clumsy; I can’t get anything right. I’m so undisciplined. I’ll probably never lose this weight,” you just cursed your future. No, we’ve got to be extremely careful about what we allow to come out of our mouths. Realize your words are setting the direction for your life. Let me ask you today, which direction are you going? Are you declaring good things? Are you blessing your life, speaking words of faith over your future? Or, are you going around saying negative things like “Nothing good ever happens to me. I’ll probably never get out of debt. I’ll never break this addiction?”
Today, choose to bless your future. Choose to declare what God says. As you align your words with His Word, you’re setting your future up for success. You’re preparing your way for victory, and you will fulfill the destiny He has planned for you!
Wow how true is that? I totally believe that what you think about…you bring about. I strongly believe to be a STRONG, Effective and Powerful Leader you have to be humble and recognize your blessings. Recognizing blessings is the ability to see that it’s not about ME…or it wouldn’t be a blessing…it would just be justly deserved and earned. In order to recieve blessing, open up to it. Count your blessings, be thankful about everything and visualize yourself as the leading role in, “Your Dream Life” Start envisioning that life of your dreams as your life of NOW! God wants you to have every good gift possible. Make the choice to receive Him, and His blessings in your life.
~Kami Dempsey
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father God, I choose to speak blessing over my future. I choose to speak life over my future. Thank You for equipping me with everything I need to fulfill the destiny You have prepared for me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Passion…and where it will take us!
By · CommentsLast night on our company call one of our top leaders shared his idea of how to build this business the quickest and most effective. He reiterated the importance of being passionate about what you do and telling your story with passion… Whether you are in a home-based business or a stay at home mom, etc… it’s important to be passionate about what it is your are doing. I do what I do because it allows me to stay home with my children and give them the kind of life I want. Im not talking “money” Im talking with our time, energies and what we can do together with this freedom of time and finances. With that said, I love being an entrepreneur. The money is definitely a bonus, but it is my driving force. I am passionate about helping other moms achieve freedom. It’s what my blog is all about. It’s the encouragement, motivation and compass as to how to be the MOM of your dreams. For me it’s helping others physically and financially while being the BEST mom I can be. I am so excited to go out this week and share my story with PASSION.
WHEN PASSION WALKS IN THE ROOM, EVERYONE STANDS UP.
Passion is the spark that lights the gasoline that is life. Passion is what everyone wants and if you have it, people will either want to be like you or be with you. In a meeting or a party or in any group, the people with passion in their eyes are the people whom everyone else is listening to and watching. They’re the leaders. Everyone looks to passionate people for what’s next, because their passion leads us to horizons few have the vision or the courage to explore. People are not born passionate. Passion is the process by which you manifest your dreams, and far too many people in this world have given up on their dreams or sacrificed them for a comfortable way of life or a secure job. That’s why passionate people rule; they’re making their dreams happen. Entrepreneurs are passionate people. They’re not content to sit around and let life happen to them; they’re in control of making life happen. That’s why some people in this world are jealous of passionate people. We’re taught early to go to school, get good grades, get a good degree, then a good job with a good title in a good career track. Becoming an entrepreneur means learning to value ideas and passion over degrees and job titles. Entrepreneurs are working outside of the box, outside of the system. They’re taking risks most people only dream of. They’re using their brains and their hearts and their vision to become more realized people every day. People running on passion are 100 percent alive, using every single capacity God has given them to live life to the limit on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual spectrum every day. No wonder some people are jealous of passionate people. You don’t need those people.

Sowing Seeds!
By · CommentsI tell people everyday we are planting seeds. Hearing “no” doesn’t necessarily mean NEVER, it just means not now! In our business, network marketing…people have to be in the right place of transition to be ready to build their business. Not even necessarily get involved…because many will get involved but because the timing isn’t right will not BUILD a successful business, but in the right TIMING, pivotal point in their life most definitely will! With that said again I want to encourage you to plant seeds. Share with people daily the benefits of owning your own home based business…in my particular company with wellness products share how you feel or the value of prevention, etc…
I loved my reading today because I think in life people are constantly watching us. Our decisions, actions and the life we live tell a story. As we allow our story to unfold will we encourage people to try something new? Will our story empower others to go after their dream? I encourage each of us today to begin living life today, telling our story in such a way that we seek out to empower others to achieve greatness.
With all that said, if we do we believe that God wants the BEST for us then we will embrace his GIFT and not allow limitations to hold us back. He supplies our every need and offers a life of greatness. We just have to accept and embrace the gift.
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
“Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness”
(2 Corinthians 9:10, NIV).
TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria
God desires to bring you increase. He’s provided you with seed so that you can invest into the lives of others. There is tremendous potential in any seed. A single seed can produce harvest of 30, 60 or 100-fold return! But that seed has to be planted. You can have a package of seeds sitting in a drawer for years and nothing will happen. But when you plant that seed in the ground, water it and tend to the weeds, that seed will begin to grow. It won’t take long before the beautiful harvest is ready to be received.
Remember, you have seeds of greatness on the inside of you. God has placed within you everything you need to be successful. But, you have to step out and sow those seeds. You have to boldly declare your faith and put action behind it. Keep an attitude of expectancy and go out believing that great things are coming your way. Be obedient to His Word because those seeds you sow will produce an abundant harvest of blessing all the days of your life.
Pray this prayer EVERY DAY:
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father God, thank You for entrusting me with seed to sow. I want to be a wise steward of all Your resources. Give me wisdom and discernment to be obedient with my words and actions. Let everything I do bring honor to You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Divine Interruptions
By · CommentsToday’s Word with Joel and Victoria
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight”
(Proverbs 3:5-6, NIV)
TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria
We all have times when our plans don’t work out. We get delayed, interrupted, and inconvenienced. It’s easy to get frustrated and fight against everything that doesn’t go our way. But I’ve learned that every interruption is not bad. Every closed door doesn’t mean you’re doing something wrong. Every delay doesn’t mean you’re not where you’re supposed to be. There is something I call a divine interruption where God, on purpose, will delay us to protect us from an accident. On purpose, He will close a door because it’s not His best. Sometimes, God will allow us to be inconvenienced so we can help someone else in need. We have to be willing to press through difficulty so we can be at the right place at the right time.
The next time you’re interrupted, delayed, or inconvenienced, don’t start thinking, “This is a pain. This is getting me off schedule.” No, get a new perspective. Look for what God wants to do because it could be divine interruption or divine protection. Trust Him today because He is directing your steps.
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Heavenly Father, thank You for choosing me. I surrender every area of my mind, will, and emotions to You. Use me for Your glory today and teach me to discern Your ways. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
It crossed my path today…
By · CommentsI wanted to take a moment to share something I read this morning:
How can one complain and count their blessings at the same time? Spend 5 minutes in the
morning every day this week, being thankful for your blessings. Each one of us is in good health,
strong income and a flourishing team, just to start! Challenge yourself to be Thankful EVERY day
this week. You cannot focus on the ugly when you are surrounded by the beautiful!
This spoke to my heart this morning and just wanted to share it with you!
For those of you in a position of leadership or influence, here is a tip: write 5 personal (snail mail) notes this week or make 5 personal phone calls to people on your team you see the BIG picture of their worth in It Works! Encourage them by pointing out their God Given Talent. Also let them know how they have encouraged you through this gift of in some other way! It will make their day and also a HUGE connection. And I bet you will be more blessed then the one on the receiving end.
No matter what position you are influencing others, you are there for a reason. Prosperity and abundance comes to those who reach out to touch the lives of others! I love being held accountable to love others more!
Have a great day!

The Big Picture…
By · CommentsI just read a children’s book called, Seven Blind Mice by Ed Young. I love reading Children’s books and I love the lessons they teach. Sometimes the best lessons can be learned through a children’s book. It’s a simple straight forward point. Direct! Children are just so resilient and so blunt and I love getting it “just how it is.”
…anyway, this book was about Seven Blind Mice who go exploring. Each one finds something strange at their pond and tries to figure out what it is. Each mouse has a different part of the “thing” and therefore has a very different perspective of what it is. It wasn’t until the Seventh mouse explored the WHOLE thing or the entire “thing” that it all made sense and they knew what they had found.
I started to think of how that pertains to life, relationships and business. It’s so much the same. Everyone has different experiences depending on their perspective. When looking at the big picture, it often all makes sense.
Whether you I am struggling with a relationship, a business decision, etc… I realized I am often so focused on “MY THING” I can’t get past it and it makes that thing, much worse. Sometimes when I just step back and look at the BIG picture or more so how many people it may affect I can make a better decision for not just for me, but for everyone involved. I learned today that no matter my perspective, when I sit back and look at the BIG picture of it all no matter what is going on in my world, may not be such a big deal…and that if my perspective is on the BIG picture I can take each small perspective with style and grace….
Okay so now that Im done mumbling what does that mean? Today if something is effecting me, upsetting me, getting me down or I have a major life decision, I need to look at the BIG picture…the relationship or the business decision as a whole and I can make a better decision for everyone and decide what matters more, the perspective or the relationship. ah ha! I love AHA moments.
A leader is someone who looks at the BIG picture and makes the best decision for the majority and chooses to take care of as many people as they can through their decision and leaves as little behind as possible. No body is perfect but with the right perspective we can make MORE right decisions.
Have a GREAT day.
You can't take it with you, but you can pay it forward!
By · CommentsI think as we all examine why we do what we do each and every day we need to remember what is MOST important to us. What is the goal? As we spend our time through the day, week, year…what is the goal? Why are we putting forth effort or not? Why are we building relationships or not? Why are we learning, growing or diving deeper? In everything in life, “don’t trade your life for temporary things!”
Don’t trade your life for temporary things
by Rick Warren
There’s far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can’t see now will last forever. 2 Corinthians 4:18 (MSG)
“You’ve probably heard the expression “You can’t take it with you,” but the Bible says you can send it on ahead, by investing it in people who are going there!”
So much of what we waste our energy on will not matter even a year from now, much less for eternity. Don’t trade your life for temporary things. Jesus said, “Anyone who lets himself be distracted from the work I plan for him is not fit for the Kingdom of God.” (Luke 9:62 LB) Paul warned, “Deal as sparingly as possible with the things the world thrusts on you. This world as you see it is on its way out.” (1 Corinthians 7:31 MSG)
What are you allowing to stand in the way of your mission? Whatever it is, let it go. “Let us strip off anything that slows us down or holds us back ….” (Hebrews 12:1 LB)
How can we do this? In one of his most misunderstood statements, Jesus said, “I tell you, use worldly wealth to gain friends for yourselves, so that when it is gone, you will be welcomed into eternal dwellings.” (Luke 16:9 NIV)
Jesus did not mean for you to “buy” friends with money. What he meant was that you should use the money God gives you to bring people to Christ. They will then be friends for eternity who will welcome you when you get to heaven! It’s the best financial investment you’ll ever make.
You’ve probably heard the expression “You can’t take it with you,” but the Bible says you can send it on ahead, by investing it in people who are going there! The Bible says, “By doing this they will be storing up real treasure for themselves in heaven—it is the only safe investment for eternity! And they will be living a fruitful Christian life down here as well.” (1 Timothy 6:19 LB)
At the end of the day we all have to account for how we spent our time, how we helped others and loved others. Whether in business, family or friends I want to look in the mirror and say, “well done!” I am thrilled to be in a business that prospers more when having this mentality. It’s all about what you give, not get! Have a great week.
It's all about our Attitude. It's up to me!
